The National Basketball Camp at Gormanston College (Co. Meath)

The National Basketball Camp is ready for 2010! Camp will run this summer for two weeks in its third year in the superb venue at Gormanston College. Application forms are now available from the Basketball Ireland office on request or can be downloaded from the BI website. All camp information can be found by clicking on the following link

Gormanston Camp information
Non-Residents

The cost of a camper attending camp as a non-resident is €200

*Same cancellation policies apply*

Application forms are available to download from the official Basketball Ireland website (please email in all application forms, postal applications will be taken ONLY if necessary)

Camp Schedule
Registration between 12.00pm & 2.30pm on Sunday the 4th & 11th of July
(Campers will receive dinner on Sunday evening)
Camp finishes @ 9am on Friday the 9th & 16th of July
(Campers will receive breakfast on Friday morning)

Camp Information
Gormanston is located 40km north of Dublin, just off the M1 motorway.
Further directions can be found on the Basketball Ireland website
Meals are provided in the cafeteria three times a day
(Please inform us if your child has any special dietary needs in advance and we will do our best to accommodate)

College security, BI & Camp staffs are on duty 24/7

Please note there is no outlet to purchase phone credit (no payphones available on campus), so campers must make sure to bring enough credit that will last them the week.
Each camper attending will receive a commemorative Camp singlet, t-shirt & bag.
A Camp Disco is held on the final night after the Awards Ceremony.
The Camp Awards Ceremony will include Junior & Senior All-Star teams, Competition winners & the famous Mr.  & Miss Gormanston Award!

Age
Open to players between 12-18 years of age

Campers are required to bring:

*Pumped basketball with name clearly marked*Sleeping bag & pillow*Change of outfit for each day*Towel*Lots of socks!*Outfit for disco*Swimming outfit*Players can bring their own DVD’s.
