  • Dec 16,2016

Conor James has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the Ireland U18 Men’s team this week.

Conor brings a wealth of coaching experience to the role, having previously held the position of assistant coach for the Irish U17 development squad last year.

James is also well known in basketball circles, as he is a current player with Men’s Super League team KUBS BC and previously played basketball with UCD.

Joining Conor at the helm will be Ciaran Dunne as Assistant Coach and fellow KUBS star Kevin Foley as Strength and Conditioning Coach.

The team will travel to Manchester at the end of December to take part in the well-known Haris Memorial Tournament.

Conor takes over from Sean Ingle, who stepped down from the role due to personal reasons.
