25 players selected for Ireland U15 Womens Development squad

  • Jul 01,2017

Twenty five players have been selected to progress with the Ireland Under 15 Women’s development squad.

Head Coach, Karl Kilbride, made the announcement this week following some hugely successful training camps and friendly games.

Speaking about the announcement, Coach Kilbride stated: "This decision was as difficult as it could have been. We started with 38 players in November last year, and the work every girl has put in over the past seven months has been incredible.

“The girls put us in a position where we had to make some incredibly difficult choices. I’m so proud of how hard they’ve all worked and how much they have put into the programme. It’s a horrible thing to have to go through, but unfortunately it’s all part of the process. Everyone who has left has left a far better player and with memories and friends for life. We’re now really looking forward to the next phase of the programme as we prepare for the European Championships next summer."
