The master fixture list for the 2015-2016 National League season has been announced.

The schedule was finalised in conjunction with participating clubs and will see the season run from Saturday October 3rd until the National League Finals weekend on March 19th and 20th, 2016.

A total of 38 clubs will contest the four divisions of the national league. Both the Women's Premier League and Division One have expanded to nine teams, with UL Huskies remaining in the top tier to be joined by last season's Division One regular season champions, Portlaoise Panthers.

Women's Premier League 2015-2016 Teams:

Team Montenotte Hotel, Singleton SuperValu Brunell, Courtyard Liffey Celtics, DCU Mercy, Meteors, Pyrobel Killester, Maxol WIT Wildcats, UL Huskies, Portlaoise Panthers.

The Women's Division One welcomes four more teams to club basketball on a national level with the addition of Fr Mathews, Marble City Hawks, Longford Falcons and Ulster Rockets.

Women's Division One 2015-2016 Teams:

Team Denjoes American Style, Oblate Dynamos, Garvey's Tralee Imperials, NUIG Mystics, ITC Basketball, Ulster Rockets, Fr Mathews, Marble City Hawks, Longford Falcons.

The Men's Premier League remains at 10 teams for the coming season following the step up of Eanna and Champions SSE Airtricity Moycullen from the Men's First Division. Neptune step down to the second tier where they'll be joined by newcomers KCYMS, ITC Basketball, KUBS and Portarlington Kestrels. Men's National League clubs have also voted to abolish the bonus point system for the coming season.

Men's Premier League 2015-2016 Teams:

C&S UCC Demons, GCD Swords Thunder, Templeogue, Pyrobel Killester, UCD Marian, DCU Saints, Belfast Star, UL Eagles, SSE Airtricity Moycullen, Eanna.  

Men's Division One 2015-2016 Teams:

Maree, C&S Blue Demons, Team Kilkenny, JM&L Auctioneers Titans, Fr Mathews, KCYMS, ITC Basketball, Portarlington Kestrels, B.F.G. Neptune, KUBS.

This season will see the return of Men's Premier League Double Headers to the National Basketball Arena (Oct 18th, Dec 13th, Dec 20th, Jan 2nd, Jan 3rd) while the Women's Premier League and Women's Division One will combine for an action packed weekend at the Arena on October 31st and November 1st.

October 17th is the first day of cup action with Premier League teams getting into knockout basketball from November 15th.

The Hula Hoops National Cup Semi-Finals will take place on January 8th/9th/10th with the finals to come at the National Basketball Arena on the 30th and 31st of January 2016.

The draw for the Hula Hoops National Cup will take place on Wednesday September 23rd.

A restructuring of Basketball Ireland's website will see fixtures available to view in browser for both desktop and mobile prior to the start of the season.
