Basketball Ireland has launched a new Technical Hub for use by all members, clubs and Area Boards. The online hub brings together all technical courses in Irish basketball into one easy to find location in order to make it easier for members to book Table Official, Referee, Coaching and Commissioner courses online.
Group Bookings can be made through the online portal here: http://bit.ly/35jz994
Introducing the service, Secretary General of Basketball Ireland Bernard O’Byrne explained: “The Technical Hub is simply an online application service that will be manned by BI staff and will make it easier for member units to book courses on line and get prompt delivery of those courses by the respective committees – the National Referees Committee (NRC), the National Table Officials Committee (NTOC), the Coaching Players and Standards Unit (CPSU) and Game Commissioners. This will alleviate pressure on the volunteers in those committees who previously have had to handle all the paperwork and allow them to concentrate on delivery of the courses. All the committees have welcomed the innovation.”
