Two Weeks To Go: FIBA Europe General Assembly

Dublin is to become the focal point for the governance of basketball in Europe as the FIBA Europe General Assembly takes place in the capital this month.
Over 130 high ranking delegates from World and European basketball fly in for the one day event which takes place at the Gresham Hotel on OâConnell St.
The event is one of the most important gatherings in basketball as the General Assembly is the supreme authority of FIBA Europe. The Assembly meets once a year and comes to Dublin for the first time.
Delegates from the 52 National Federation Members are set to attend as well as Members of the European Board including President, Mr Turgay Demirel and FIBA Executive Director Europe, Mr Kamil Novak.
The General Assembly opens at 10am on Saturday May 28th.
