The CPSU is delighted to announce that Basketball Ireland has been invited to send a female coach to the FIBA Women's Basketball Summit in Slovenia this summer. 

Ireland has sent representatives to this camp for the last five years and it is hoped to continue that tradition this summer. 

If you believe that you meet the criteria below, please submit an application to cpsu@basketballireland.ie by close of business on Monday, April 30th. 

1) All nominees must be female.

2) All nominees must be coaching women.

3) You must have an interest in developing your own coaching abilities and a desire to advance along the coaching pathway.

4) You must be a registered coach with Basketball Ireland.

5) You must be Garda vetted.

6) You should preferably be a Level 1 coach (Introductory coaches with experience will also be accepted).

7) You should be available to travel to Slovenia in July and be able to contribute half of the cost of the flights. 

All nominations should be accompanied with a brief description of your coaching experience and ambitions for the future. If you have any queries in relation to this matter please don't hesitate to contact the CPSU via the email above.
