Basketball Ireland announces digital partnership with Balls.ie

Ahead of this weekend’s Hula Hoops National Cup finals, Basketball Ireland is delighted to announce that they will be partnering Balls.ie as a digital content partners for Irish basketball for 2019.
The partnership will encompass on-site content, video streaming, in-depth features and social media coverage. The announcement comes at a hugely exciting for Irish basketball, as the sport continues to grow in popularity and expand its commercial profile.
“We are delighted to welcome Balls.ie on board as our digital media partner,” said Media and Communications Manager at Basketball Ireland, Mary McGuire. “Balls.ie have produced some fantastic content over the last three years through their partnership with Hula Hoops, and we are thrilled that they are coming on board now with Basketball Ireland for 2019.”

Balls Media have partnered with Hula Hoops over the last three years to create content around the National Cup semi-finals and finals as well as the inaugural Hula Hoops 3x3 event which took place for the first time last May. Balls Media also recently produced a short documentary series on Kerry basketball team, Garvey’s Tralee Warriors.
