Club support and services update from Basketball Ireland
May 03, 2020
All at Basketball Ireland HQ hopes that everybody is coping as well as possible with this enormous challenge that has been set to us as a society.
We will come through this and, among other things, we will get back to the sport we love.
BIHQ want to remind you that we are still functioning away remotely from our homes and we are available if we can assist in any way.
Our Commercial Manager Conor Meany and other members of staff have put this reference list together for you:
Utilising the unexpected downtown before next season, below are a list of services and supports that are currently available to clubs. If you have other areas where you would like support please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Child Protection and Welfare:
It is essential for all clubs to have up-to-date documents, particularly in the area of child welfare. A full list of documents is available on the website at: https://www.basketballireland.ie/content_page/366164/child-protection/
Additionally, clubs can contact Rory Wall (email@example.com) for any guidance on Garda Vetting, Child Protection or any other policies that you make require.
A new range of basketball skill development programmes are available through Basketball Ireland’s social media channels, with a new programme launched every Monday morning at 11.30am across all of our platforms.
