Job opportunities in the Arena

The Community Employment (CE) programme is designed to help people who are long-term unemployed to get back to work by offering part-time and temporary placements in jobs based within local communities. Participants can take up other part-time work during their placement. After the placement, participants are encouraged to look for permanent jobs, based on the experience and new skills they have gained while on a Community Employment scheme. The National Basketball Arena in Tallaght are recruiting for the below two roles:
Event Support staff role on the Community Employment Scheme
Would you like to work 19.5 hours a week? Are you claiming a social welfare payment for more than 12 months? Event staff will be responsible for setting up and breaking down for events, working in the shop, cleaning and general maintenance of Arena.
Flexible hours, including weekends, keep your medical card.
Event Administration role on the Community Employment Scheme
Event administration role support and general office administration, customer care, stock-taking and processing shop orders. Other duties as required by management may include, shop/cashier duties, event support and cleaning from time to time. Flexible hours are on offer with occasional weekend cover.
