Basketball Ireland launch Club Mark webinars

Basketball Ireland will be running a series of webinars, with the deadline to apply for Club Mark fast approaching.
Basketball Ireland’s Development Officers launched Club Mark to help the over 220 local clubs island-wide to become more sustainable and achieve their full potential.
The webinars start at 8pm and will give clubs guidance on some of the areas within Basketball Ireland’s Club Mark.

Monday 16th - 'Using Social Media' with Nathaniel Cope, Basketball Ireland Media and Communications Manager
Thursday 19th - 'Creating a player pathway within your club' with Niall Berry, Basketball Ireland Mid-West Development Officer
Monday 23rd - 'Safeguarding and coach licensing' with Rory Wall, Basketball Ireland Compliance Officer and Matt Hall, Senior Technical Officer
Thursday 26th - 'Securing sponsorship and applying for grants' with Conor Meany, Basketball Ireland Commercial Manager
To register for the webinar please sign up by emailing accreditation@basketballireland.ie. The strict deadline to register is 1pm on the day of each webinar. Those registered will receive webinar details via email at 5pm.
Ciaran O’Sullivan, Head of Development at Basketball Ireland, said: “The webinars have been designed by staff in Basketball Ireland and will hopefully help those clubs interested in applying. Each webinar will include a presentation and afterwards there will be opportunities to ask questions.
“Club Mark is here to help clubs reach their full potential. I’d like to remind clubs that our Development Officers are on hand to guide any club through the process.“
