Basketball Ireland issues Club Resilience Grant Claim Form
January 13, 2021
Basketball Ireland has issued its Club Resilience Grant Claim Form. The funding is to help clubs deal with the impact of Covid-19. Basketball Ireland registered clubs in the Republic of Ireland, that haven’t previously received money from the Sports Resilience Fund, will now be able to claim a grant of €700 each. Only clubs which have registered for the 2020/21 season are eligible.
The funding, made available through Sport Ireland, is to specifically to defray costs that clubs have incurred directly due to the pandemic, such as providing sanitisers, temperature checks and additional equipment to reduce the transfer of equipment. Once the claim form is processed, funds will be issued immediately to eligible clubs.
Basketball Ireland CEO, Bernard O’Byrne, said: “We are delighted to have received this funding from government after hard work by Sport Ireland to help secure it at the end of last year. It’s a much-needed boost for our clubs, which will help alleviate some of the costs incurred due to Covid-19.”
Those wishing to claim must do so by filling out the following form: Basketball Ireland Club Resilience Grant Claim Form
