In August 2020, the Basketball Ireland Development Officers launched the Club Mark programme. The Club Mark is designed to help clubs follow best practice, become more sustainable, develop their volunteers and engage with Basketball Ireland programmes.
Since its launch, 17 clubs have engaged with the programme, with seven clubs achieving the Bronze level and two clubs progressing to the Silver level. The Club Mark has helped clubs throughout the country improve. Baltinglass Bulldogs Basketball Club had this to say about their Club Mark experience:

“It is a positive move for any club to make. It helps you to put in place the correct structures to build on for the future and it is also a great recognition for all the hard work that the committee, volunteers and coaches put in each week."
